By July 2, I had enough of the city and was ready to explore the rest of Denmark. The plan for that day was to meet up with my friend and head west to Høng. My friend's parents lived out there, so I could stay there a few days before I continued on to other parts of Denmark.
I spent the morning packing and doing laundry. Then the rest of the afternoon drinking tea and watching TV. You see, my friend was out looking for dresses with a friend. Yes, I was waiting on women to finish shopping before I could do anything. There was only one thing I could do. I had to take matters into my own hands and find a dress for this poor girl.
I am not sure what this girl must have thought when I was picking out dresses for her, but when I grabbed a couple that she liked that were also in her size, I am sure I confused her even more. What's a guy to do? I was tired of waiting!
Høng is on the west side of the island of Sjealand, which is the same island København is on. There are some pretty wicked beaches out that way and I wanted to explore those before I left the area. Also, I friend of mine back in Canada highly recommended the beach Stillinge Strand. If some one highly recommends a beach like that, I can't possibly ignore that.
With a short train ride later and a car ride through more farm land of Denmark, I had left København.
